Funding open access
Multiple funding routes are available for Gold Open Access articles. Please see this journal's open access options for details.
Author Information Form
After acceptance you will receive an email from [email protected] inviting you to complete an Author Information Form. You will be required to confirm information relating to your article, which will be reflected in your final publication and in your digital publishing agreement, if applicable. Once you have completed the Author Information form and signed your publishing agreement, your article will proceed into production.
Production
Once an article has been accepted and the Author Information Form has been completed, the process of copyediting, typesetting, proofing, and publishing the article will begin.
Your point of contact with Cambridge University Press will be the content manager of the journal. For more information about how production works at Cambridge University Press, please see our information about our publication journey, which explains how an article goes from accepted manuscript to fully published. Note that there may be small variances in this process between journals. More information is available at our Journal Production FAQs.
Post-acceptance process
Please note that final publication will be conditioned upon a variety of administrative requirements, including signing a publishing agreement with Cambridge University Press.
Articles' accessible summaries
ReCALL authors are encouraged to share a non-technical, one-page summary of their article (including information about the study's goals, methodology and results) on the OASIS database.
You can read more about the benefits of hosting an article's accessible summary on the OASIS database here.
Proofreading
First proofs may be read and corrected by authors via the online system within the specified period.
Authors should correct printers’ errors but not introduce new or different material at this stage. Authors would be strongly advised to read the proof thoroughly as any errors missed may appear in the final published paper. Once the article is available online, no further changes can be made.
Please note that any supplementary materials will not be copy-edited, whether on the ReCALL homepage hosted by CUP or on IRIS, for example (see the author template).
Final-version PDFs
Contributors will be provided with the PDF file of the published paper.
